How it all started

It all started when I, using various online tools, cobbled together a personal hoodie design for a special someone a few months ago.

I had a lot of fun with the creative process and I learned a lot. In the search for a suitable supplier to print that hoodie, I learned the principles of Print On Demand and dropshipping. Without realizing it, the seed that would grow into SoulStringShop was planted.

For my free time, however, I was still looking for a way to express my creativity. In the distant past, I did that through photography and video art. I still constantly look around me in search of beautiful images. During walks in the city, nature or on vacation, moments of freedom and peace.

Traveling the world, discovering new places, being amazed by nature, the locals and getting to know yourself, is a dream that many cherish I suspect. A dream that needs to be financed of course. What if I can generate a semi-passive income and this regardless of where I am? That thought was slumbering in my head. What if I can combine that with expressing creativity and self-development? After some hesitation, I decided: I'm going for it. I'm opening a webshop and selling self-designed T-shirts.

I have watched hours and hours of YouTube videos about starting a webshop, read dozens of articles, asked myself countless questions and looked up the answers. It's a steep learning curve, but I'm working on it. SoulStringShop is on its way!

Will I earn enough and be able to travel the world? No idea. Will I encounter obstacles or problems? Without a doubt. Will I learn and enjoy it? I hope so.
