The launch of SoulStringShop

It is Friday, March 28, 2025, 0:23. After writing this blog, I am launching my hobby project online. It took me weeks and weeks of preparation. Much longer than I had dared to imagine. "Start your own webshop in a few clicks." Once again, I have experienced that if it is too good to be true, it is not true.

But people, I have learned so much! From the basics of CSS code (that's a kind of programming language or something), about the sense and nonsense of Meta ads and social media 'best practices' to writing meta descriptions for SEO (another nerdy thing). I'll leave that last one to ChatGPT. The only thing I haven't learned yet is how to prepare tofu in a tasty way.

What I have especially enjoyed immensely is the creative process. Thinking up and making designs for the t-shirts, sweaters and hoodies. Although they are not earth-shattering or innovative, some may even be unoriginal or rather banal, it is hard to express how much pleasure and fun I have had with them. More than I expected and that is what I do it for in the first place. If you also find them beautiful and worth wearing, then that is the icing on the cake.

Besides those designs, I also love creating content (yes, that's what you're supposed to say these days). My creative soul is revived. But now I'm going to launch my webshop with a few clicks. Ah, that's what they mean with "Start your own webshop in a few clicks."
